About

A Little about me.......

Who I Am

Born and raised in the New York City area, I migrated to South Florida in 2003 and left the Corporate world of Accounting and Finance to pursue a career in Education.  I've taught a wide spectrum of mathematics courses with student populations ranging from Elementary Schoolers to High School Seniors to neurodiverse students with autism, ADHD and dyslexia.  I enjoy working with remedial students learning basic Math just as much as the High Honors Student who is preparing for their College entrance exam.

My secret to converting a student who thinks math is their weakness into someone who will enthusiastically work with me to make it their strength, is to identify that person’s special interests and make the math relatable.  I find “hooks” that will keep them engaged in the learning process in a fun way, while simultaneously teaching mathematical concepts and all-important study and test-taking techniques.
